Jerry Lee, I just wanted to say a few things so they get said. I guess the first thing would be that in my 67 years I never did consider Elvis to be the ‘King Of Rock And Roll.’ I got nothing against him mind you, he was a great singer, and a good looking son of a gun – there’s no doubt about that. And he had some undeniably classic rock and roll hits. I just always thought of him as more of a movie star than I did as a rock and roller. It seemed like an act. On the other hand, you were the real deal. From the word go, you had rock and roll boiling in your blood, and I don’t care what anybody says – YOU were the embodiment of all that ever was Rock and Roll. I’ve been a professional musician since the mid 1960’s, and you were my inspiration. That inspiration spoke loud and clear to me – be REAL. Let them people FEEL your heart and soul, because that’s what gets to them. And for that I thank you. May God bless your soul. I only wish to God I could have said it to your face.
I am a cancer survivor Mr.Lewis and on my bucket list is just you! It would be a honor to meet you someday soon when this awful pandemic is over with. I do pray that you and your family members will survive this pandemic. I was as some people who would call me a child bride and my husband then was 22 year’s old and I was just 15 year’s old.
Our marriage didn’t work out because of other people that couldn’t keep their mouths shut.
Well I don’t think that you want me to continue my story about me. I want to meet you and your family. I will be 61 year’s old on May10th this year and I hope that I will be headed your way. God Bless you and your family Mr Lewis.
I’ve seen videos of going to the Lewis Ranch and how Mr. Lewis treats his fans. I never knew he had such a great sense of humor. I’ve looked back at some interviews he did in the 80s and 90s. Reminds me a lot of my folks. Witty and very friendly.
To Mr. Lewis,
My family is also very religious as well. I think God favors you because he’s given you your success. You seem very happy, and I think that is what matters. The amount of good you put out, I think God will reward. You seem like a family man as well. The fact that you would open the gates for your fans says a lot about one’s heart already. I am sure you work hard to make up for mistakes you’ve made. I am an atheist, who used to be Catholic, but I still have love for my fellow Christ-believers. I highly admired how devout you were in an interview I saw. It reminded me of my father. Many of us still love you. I was born in the mid-90s. I listened to Great Balls of Fire as a kid and loved it. I explored more of your career in my teens. After playing guitar for 15 years, I am on piano, and I love your career even more. Keep spreading God’s love.
I now play in a Rockabilly band because of you, Jerry Lee! I truly hope to be able to visit the Ranch very soon to honor the true King of Rock n Roll! Thank you so much for the amazing music and kicking the door open for the music to be heard!
I used to listen to your music when I was attend University of South Florida
Then I moved to Brazil and was able to go to a concert of yours in Rio de Janeiro
It was funny when, during the show, you interrupted to say no one at the event would give you a Coca-Cola. Quickly one was put on your piano, which you gladly drank
Hello there Jerry lee, or I better say Mr. Lewis thats the way i was raised… i just want to thank you for your great music that you have shared and tell you God bless you!! and God bless your family and keep you all healthy and happy. Thank you again for just being you and the great music you make and come fishing up here on Kentucky lake anytime with us! it would be a honor to take the ole killer out on a guided trip on beautiful KY lake!!
I was 12 years old when I first saw you performing in Helsinki, Finland. The second time I saw you was in 1990 at the Hotel Hesperia nightclub in Helsinki, when I turned 25 years old. We celebrated a small moment together, you ordered me champagne and you were a gentleman. Today, I’m a songwriter and producer in Finland. Inspired by your music, I wrote a pop song for the legendary first Finnish rock star Lasse Liemola in 2017 when she turned 80 years old. My dream would be to hear it played by you too in memory of old times. ๐ Happy 85y Birthday Jerry 27.9. ! <3
Wow. Incredible to leave a message for the Killer! Many days and nights me and my friends spent listening to your country songs. But it started before that for me, I was a rocker before country and you were right there with all the great musicians of the day “Elvis” “Buddy Holly” “Ritchie Valens” “Big Bopper” “Dion” and on and on. The best song I really like is Me and Bobby Mcgee. Love the piano on that. I would love to play like you. Your sons are doing you proud by opening up your home for others to see. I hope to visit there some day. Keep on Killing them, with your music that is!
I hope to visit your ranch this spring if possible. The thing that always affected me was it seemed as though he had a deep spiritual life though he didn’t show it much. I would leave to hear his thoughts on God and faith.

My wife and I visited the Ranch this past week, and it was a very pleasant and en-lighting experience. Our tour guide was Jerry Lee’s son, Jerry Lee Lewis lll. He took us thru the house and explained the many thing, photo and article that were in each room. He told us information/stories that we had never heard before. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the history of rock & roll and the “history” of Jerry Lee himself!!! Be sure to look over Jerry’s Rolls Royce sitting in the drive way. It was worth every bit of the admission price.
Jerry Lee………..First of all I feel privileged to have this opportunity to comment on your guestbook. I have seen a numerous amount of your concerts through the years, ie (Panther Hall and The Longhorn Ballroom, etc) and although they all, as always, were exceptional, the performance that stands out the most in my mind was held during the summer of 1972 at “The Palladium” in London, England. I feel confident in saying that I believe you will recall some person storming the stage, grabbing a microphone and singing! I will never forget that as long as I am around. I have been to tour your home in Ferriday and enjoyed. Treated like royalty by Frankie Jean. Been to your ranch several years back, however tours were temporarily stopped. Making plans to return to Nesbit in the forth coming months. I want to Thank “The Killer” for taking time to read my comments.
My husband and I visited The Lewis Ranch on 9/21/19. Our tour guide was Scott, who is a good friend of Jerry Lee Lewis III. Scott was welcoming, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. He took pics for us, answered our questions, encouraged us to take our time and not rush, and was just an excellent host all the way around. I had a laundry list of places to visit while in TN but The Lewis Ranch was my favorite. I highly recommend this tour, and I would’ve gladly paid more. I tried to offer Scott a tip for sharing his time, knowledge and hospitality with us, be he was too kind to accept. Thank you for an awesome experience that we will not forget. Chad and Jennifer Branham from South Carolina
I have always wanted to meet this great man in person. I am from Vidalia Louisiana. Jerry knew my family (Exodus and Georgie Murray). They owned Murray’s Grocery . Grew up listening and loving his music.
